Clean Heroes brings children aged 6 to 12, their families and their teachers together to look after the places they love.
How it works
Four simple steps, every week
Your class gets a kit
Two family packs with pickers, gloves, vests, a roll of bin bags and a safety card.
Friday: a pack goes home
Every Friday two children take a pack home to their family.
The weekend clean-up
Together with an adult, they clean up near home for 20 to 30 minutes.
Monday: story time
They share their story with the class, and the packs go to the next two heroes.
In class
12 sessions, 3 blocks
One session a week, 40 to 60 minutes.
